Lightbulb Is there a way to find out the Long running queries.

    Hi Gurus,
Is there a way we can find out the Long running queries in the begining, while you start executing the queries.
Here is my concern, i need to set some kind of thresh hold values (may be in the combination of COST, Consistent gets, and Physical reads..etc ) for longer running queries..
For example, if the current running query statistics values exceeds the thersh hold values, than the user in front wants to have alert about that query will take long time finish the process like that..

Can i any one helpme out on this.

    Thanks.
    Regards,

    One way...
Query from v$session_longops view and report to user.

Do you collect "system statistics" ?
