    Unhappy Import data back without deleting table? HELP!

    Hi, i'm new at this and i dont know how to do this.

    I have exported data from a single table thru the EXP command and i have a tjk.dmp file. I want to import thi file back to the db, there are no rows in the target table. But can i import withut dropping the table? because it keeps trying to create the table and exists with warning .. cant i just import the data? and please check if im using the correct format .. which one is correct ?

    1)

    imp olas/olas file=tjk.dmp full=yes

    or
    2)

    imp olas/olas file=tjk.dmp fromuser=olas touser=olas tables=tjkbh

    Please help me before anyoe finds out i deleted the data :((((((

    add the ignore=y option, it will insert your data then
    full=y isnt necessary

    just imp olas/olas file=tjk.dmp ignore=y

    (p.s. you will get a better response if you post in the right forum)
