    UTL_FILE execute OS file

    Hi,

    is it possible to execute an external file (*.bat which will call a PHP Programm) with UTL_FILE?

    If not, any idea how i could do that?
    Oracle Version: 9.2.0.1.0
    OS Client & Server: Windows XP Pro

    No, UTL_FILE only reads and writes files. You would have to execute your script from outside of PL/SQL or by running a small JAVA program.
