    Disks in Sun Solaris 9

    Hi everyone,

I had to install Sun Solaris 9 on one of our server. This server has 12 disks. After installing, I could see only 1 disk. How Do I add remaining disks so that they are mounted automatically. I don't want to any partitions/mirroring etc., just simple disks.

Do I need you format utility to format and label disks?
or do just add them to vfstab ?

I want to mount these disks as /disk01 and /disk02 etc. This moment the format command showing c0t1d0 etc.

    Please advice.

    Thanks in advance.

are the disks internal? or external, maybe they present themself to the OS as only one disk.

if the OS's see's them then format will list all the devices.

Or maybe you need to do a reboot -r to reconfigure the system and make it scan for new devices
