    upgrade the oracle database

    Hi Gurus,

    I want to upgrade the oracle8i database to oracle10G database.
    Is it possible to upgrade?

    Yes you can do a 8i to 10g upgrade

    Migration Documentation

    I went to Metalink to find the steps for migrating from 8.1.7 to 10g and I cannot find them.

    Is there a special section that provides migration steps?

    its called the migration guide which comes with every release - docs arent held on metalink
