    List/Range Composite partition

    Hi All,

I have a requirement to store data from different types of block of business by month and year. I am thinking of partition by block of business and subpartition mmyyyy ie. list/range composite . Does Oracle 10g has this option available? Any help/suggestion will be great.

    Thanks,

You can have range/list partitioning, but not list/range.

In composite partitioning, partitions must allways be partitioned by range method, while subpartitions may be partitioned by list or hash method.
