In Oracle 10G using Hot standby, can you switch back to primary
We are using the Oracle 10G Standard Edition (which doesn't include Dataguard).
If we configure a server for the Hot Standby database, once we have switched to the standby database, do we have to re-create the primary database etc. or is there now a feature where we can switch back to the primary? I know Dataguard can do this but can we do this without using Dataguard?
