    Hi,
Does anyone know how to manually create the Listener In Windows 2000 Server platform? Any files I can run to recreate the Listener ?

I deleted the Listener Services thru Regedit and forgotten to restart the Windows and I straight install the Oracle Database. Once installtion completed, I found only the Database Services Started up but not the Listener. Any other solution besides reinstall the Database ?

    Thanks.

I did that but the error still comes up as I believe the OS not recognise the Listener services anymore (In Services - OracleOra81TNSListener Status is blank)

    Thanks for the feedback.

delete the listener entry in services from regedit. Then try my previous post.
