Creating Folder
An Indian discovered that nobody can create a folder anywhere named as "con"
This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the
Whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!
Try it out yourself...

and why would bill gates know the answer, it's not as if he wrote the code! Im sure someone could explain it.

You cannot create a folder with the same name as any of the following devices:
CON, PRN, LPT1, LPT2 ..LPT9, COM1, COM2 ..COM9
This limitation ensures that redirection to these devices will always work.

Trust slimdave to spoil my illusions. I had imagined it was because, in French "con" is obscene, and colloquially used to mean stupid.
