When installing 10g, how do I determine sizing for ARCHIVELOG and REDO LOG?

Hi, we have a 800 GB SQL Server database that we're migrating to Oracle 10g. We'll allocate 2 TB for the current database and future growth, but what is the method for determining the amount of space for ARCHIVE LOGS and ONLINE REDO LOGS? This is an OLTP system not OLAP or datawarehousing. Thanks for your help!

you have to benchmark and work it out, calculate how much redo you generate. it is nothing to do with the size of the datasbase but the amount of work you do

As you are saying it is OLTP system and 800 GB, I wud have created online redologs sizing around 500-800 MB each with total no. of groups 6. Later, you can check how many switches happening per hour using v$archived_log and decide if you need to resize the logs.
