    How does one rename database?

    Dear Sir,
    Can you please explain the procedure of "How does one rename database?" . I want to rename the database in oracle 10g.

    Details are as follows :
    OS : redhat linux AS-4
    Database : Oracle 10g

    Just use nid command to rename database in 9i/10g.
