    Centralized TNSNAMES.ORA with LDAP

Hello. I have been researching this topic for a while. My goal is to address the feasability of centralizing TNSNAMES.ORA within the MICROSOFT Active Direcotry (LDAP) environment. I searched metalink and technet and I havent found much.

I read on how to setup OID for LDAP but not Tnsnames centralization for Microsoft LDAP. Can anyone give me some direction regarding this?
    thanks

I looked into it about a year ago.

I've got a doc at the office that gives some good detail.

Here's the bottom line. You need to create an LDAP node for the OracleContext and there is an ldif file somewhere that'll create it and populate it properly.

    You'll manage it with netcfg.

    Cheers,
