Senior Oracle Dba
A highly experienced, self-motivated, expert level Oracle DBA with a
minimum of 5 years experience is needed to build and maintain large-scale Oracle databases across multiple Solaris and Linux platforms. Responsibilities include project management, developing best practices and repeatable procedures for deploying databases, day-to-day operational activities including break/fix, space management, backup and restore, replication management, performance monitoring and tuning. This position also requires experience in building highly available systems, and
configuring systems for disaster recovery. Streams and RAC experience are plusses.
Experience with 9i and 10g. Experience implementing data replication for high-availability and disaster recovery is required. Extensive experience in VLDB and real-time OLTP environments is required. Performance analysis/system resource management experience needed. Expert-level knowledge of enterprise backup/restore mechanisms is required. Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and at least one high level programming language is required. Excellent project management skills are required. MSCS or equivalent experience.
