    CM not coming up(gsm issue)

    Hi,
    I have completed my db upgrade from 8i to 9i. But i m not able to start the concurrent managers now. the log file contains the following error
    Could not start Service Manager FNDSM_hostname_sid. The TNS alias could not be located, the listener process on hostname could not be contacted, or the listener failed to spawn the Service Manager process.
    As a work around i have set teh profile option "GSM enabled=NO"
    Please let me know the cause of this error and the solution.

    In sqlplus
    Select count(*) from dba_objects where status='INVALID';

    If there are any invalid objects, especially if there are any invalid objects that begin with 'FND_', then you should recompile those invalid objects first.

    After recompiling these invalid objects, then try to start the ICM.

    Please ensur that the correct PMON method is set.
