    Export hangs forever!

when i run export manually as user system it hangs indefinitely:

About to export the entire database ...
    . exporting tablespace definitions
    .
    .
    . exporting PUBLIC type synonyms
    . exporting private type synonyms
    . exporting object type definitions_

I have to abort the export every time, tried couple of times. this is on Win2000 oracle 9i R2.

    thanks in advance.
