Docs on BCV/RMAN - Business Continuance Volumes

It looks like we need to get this going in a hurry. I dont see anything but TARS on BCV/RMAN. Does anybody have good links on the subject ?

All I have is this 8i Link and we are using the latest 10G Rel 2.

Hi

No tars but we do use RMAN with 10g and BCV backup.its much easier but we are doing datafile backup with BCV and not using RMAN.

As backing up with BCV timefinder is much much faster and restoring also is much faster as compared to RMAN i am talking about a 5Tb database here

alter database begin backup..

and after that

its alter database end backup

The whole processes is doen in under 5 minutes

No hitches so far...
