    Database notification from GRID

    I came across once about database email notification is not on avaiable in GRID under current version (10.1.0.3) and it will in the future. Iwas trying to look for it again in Metalink and can't find that docs.

    Anyone has any info????

    Not sure what that's about, my OEM/Grid email (through SMTP gateway) worked on 10.1.0.2 and an upgraded 10.1.0.3

    Ken,

    my SMTP worked as well, but there was no EVENT for you to set on email notification

    There aren't 'events' in grid. Have a look at setting up rules and setting metrics, you'll find you can notify via email whether your database goes down or if you run out of space etc etc
