    How to Backup, restore and recovery to another host

    Dear Listers, I'm v. new to Oracle 10g and would like some direction or links to where i can source info to create a local backup for restore and recovery to either the same host or another host. ie a typical dev to uat database migration. Even how to capture the script for future use (if that is possible) ... note that we're running on W2K3.
