    ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file 5 (block # 20416)

    Dear Listers, I'm v. new to Oracle 10g. Can anyone assist with this error :
    ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file 5 (block # 20416)
    ORA-01110: data file 5: 'H:\DATA\ORACLE\DATA\MSV_DEV\TS_INDEX.DBF'
    ORA-27091: unable to queue I/O.

    I've seen reference to 'dbverify', is this worth pursuing?
