    installing RAC

    Hi.

    If i wanted to have multiple instances on my database, then i should be using installation CDs not meant for the normal database installation (one instance for one database) ?

    First read and follow the manufacturer instructions (Administration/Deployment Guide and the Install Guide)
    ..
    then Oracle Clusterware, then the DB CD's
    ..
    Log SR's
