Auditing options in DB

The management has asked to provide some kind of the info about Auditing. If you guys can refer me to docs, that would be great too.

1. If I turn on auditing, what si the full functionality will it have???
2. at what percentage the performance will be degraded???

they just asked me what's available in AUDITING b/c of SOX compliance.

Also, where do you get these number from Jeff (0-3000)
