    Available memory in my database and rollback hit ratio stats

    pls how do i know available memory in my database and also if the rollback hit ratio is less than 95% what do I do.

    My db is 8.1.6

    ratios suck generally - what are you trying to ptove - and define how much memory - in what part?

    I want to find out available memory in my SGA and PGA.

    I have rollback hit ratio of 89%. Thats why I want to know what to do when its less than 95%

    show parameter pga (if you are using automatic work area sizing)
