    tns packet writer failure

    Hi all,

    i am getting tns packet writer failure when i try to connect with oracle designer,forms and also sqlplus(oracle 8.0.6).But i can connect through oracle9i sqlplus.
    pls help me to resolve

    tns packet writer failure

    Dear Sir,

    Getting tns packet writer failure when i try to connect with oracle database through designer and oracle 8i sqlplus client.but i can connect to database with oracle 9i sqlplus client.pls tell me the work arounds.

    tns packet writer failure

    Hi,

    From both oracle 8.0.6 sqlplus client and designer, i am not able to connect to both oracle 8i and 9i databases.
