Thread: Forms Error - can't read file

I have not used Forms but I must make changes to files that were created using Forms. What I have are the files with the .FMB extensions. I need to modify the text within the form. I tried using Notepad but I get the message that Forms can't read the file. How do I use Forms to access the code to make changes? I inherited this with no documentation on the system, just the files.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

For your open .FMB, don't use NOTE PAD or other text editor.
You need the F45DES32.EXE (Form 4.5 of Oracle) only.

Check to see if you have Developer 2000 on your system. In that is Forms Designer (the .exe file mentioned before). This will allow you to make the necessary changes to the form.
