    Oracle Applications 11i installation

I am trying to install oracle apps 11.5.9 on Windows XP. Initially installation was hung at "Performing Database characterset Conversion ...adsvdcnv.cmd" and got terminated after 30 mins. when I try to install this software again, I am getting an error "Bootstrap Failed" and not proceeding further.

I have already installed GNUmake 3.80, MKS Toolkit (for win32 Rel 6.1 a) and VC++ (98). I also found one the required installation step was not met ( "Check system for make, ld,ar and cc" was not passed. ld.exe command was not there under MKS path).

    Please advice on above problem.

There was no error when I installed MKS, GNUmake and VC++, but ld command is missing and installation is not happening.

I think make, ld,ar and cc is for unix environment.

What you may need to work(utilities) are:
    cc, gnumake, link for Windowz.

    I have a question myself.
