Setting up the Oracle Management Server

I'm trying to use the Data Guard GUI tool to setup a standby server. I keep reading that I need to have the Oracle Management Server running to use the DG GUI. How do I go about setting this up?

    thanks.

The OMS is part of oracle enterprise manager, you will need either 9i OEM setup or 10G grid control setup depending on what you're using/comfortable with.
