    Need some obfuscation!

Is Mr Hanky on holiday or something? Has he defected to another forum due to the layout changes?

I need some entertainment. This forum seems a little dead at the moment!

    Cheers

How about a nice political discussion?

US refines the use of the word war!

It would seem that the death of King Fahd would be an ideal time for the US to...
"... spread an ideology that competes with their ideology, and that's an ideology of democracy and freedom"
    ...in Saudi Arabia.

Ha ha ha, you know, sometimes I make even myself laugh.

Thank God the Cats and Jammers bunch are back!
You folks had me worried. Please, don't leave me without your unique entertaiment this long again. Hey, this forum can still work, it's not the layout that calls me here, it's the entertainment value.

About democracy and freedom in Saudi Arabia..... Yeah, to catch on there about as much as it would in Samolia or Ruwanda.

    Good one there slimdave

This is what I missed the last few days.

Please, don't do that again, I would have had to live vicariously through..........I can't bring myself to think such a thing.

We need more republicans here, that's for sure -- preferably one who can stand up to the cut-and-thrust of a little debating action ...

Is there a man or women, on this forum, who truly believes, that one country can shove the majority rule idea down another country's throat?

Generations of people who are used to one man and his muscle to get the people doing his bidding. If the US were to go into such a country, to change that, how far should the US take it. Just to the point of ousting said dictator, to then let the people take it from there. Where then would the people take it? I say they would fall back into what they had. Same game, different faces. Nothing changes.

Should the us go in and not only oust said dictator, but shove majority rule down their throats? Would the people be obliged and run with the majority rule idea? I say they wouldn't. That would mean a wasted effort.

    Anyone?
