    Hi,

I am new to apps DBA. Cound any body

    1) Give me link to apps installation & system admin documenttaion on oracle site or otherwise

    2) How is disk space is required for all modules ( software + typical database w/o data).

We are purchasing 36 GB along with HP box. Will it suffice?

    Hi

    Wonder why no body responded.

Further, the RAM ordered is 128 MB. This will be one box test install.

I believe 128MB RAM as well 36 GB HDD are both too small to install complete 11i product set.

Any estimates & suggestions on RAM & HDD.

Check out the documentation for Oracle Appls 11i install guide. I believed that in it, the disk requirements for the demo database (Vision) is around 91Gb. Memory sizing is around 3Gb for up to 100 users.

So, yeah, your current spec is too small!

You'd think after three years they might have figured it out, eh?

169706.1, 43507.1,189256.1. Check this notes in metalink. If you don't have mail me to dhinavictor@yahoo.com. 169706.1 will give you the full details of the hardware requirements.
