Delete Oracle Archive logs on windows2000, Oracle8i

Hi ,

We have oracle 8i on windows2000 server..we use BackupExec to backup online database..But it wont flush/delete the logs after the backup..Is there a script which I can use on that DB server to purge the logs with repective to System date....I see some scripts with RMAN in the web..but i need without RMAN as we are backing up with Veritas BackpupEXEC..

I can include the script in backup job so i can run once my backup is done....please post the scirpt if anybody have it..

Just write something in DOS, or tcl. As you have 8i, you can write a script that uses oratcl.
