Suggest an open source Job scheduler (conditional)

Hello Friends,

Can someone suggest me a open source job scheduler which will help me in :

schedule jobs , next job gets triggered only when the previous jobs is successful or if it fails it may trigger some other job.

So its kinda complex jon scheduling. Just the OS scheduler wont work, we dont want to bang our heads in building complex shell scripts.

Appworx is one of the tool we can use but we dont have the budget so looking for something freely available from the open source community .
