    Question

i was wondering if any of you guys could help me here...

we have user complaining about performance, checked i/o - fine, and it is not processor bound either.

the main application has a trace facility, i used this to gather data on the what the user was doing.

basically, this message comes up after they have performed what they have they been doing.

    IFS/Client Db call 13:52:11.94 (+17.96) DbConnect( '6' )

It looks like the user could be dropping connections, I would print the rest of the trace file, but its huge.

    any ideas??

What is your database setup, MTS, shared server? then it is a possibility. You could set up a dedicated server option on your listener and try how the performnce goes?
