    trace DDL stmts

    Hi,

    Could someone pls help me find out the user name who dropped some of the tables from an oracle schema. We have not yet shutdown the db for recovery. This is just to find out how nearly 400 tables got dropped and the complete information about the session which dropped them.We are running in noarchivelog mode.

    since its a development database we dont have auditing and log miner set. Still doesn't oracle store this ddl stmts in some of the v$ views?

    no, why would it?

    that would be the purpose of auditing.

    Lesson learned then - you dont mention version - cant flashback?
