    P.S. If you just type lsnrctl you get yourself to listener prompt and query, start, stop listener not Intelligent Agent:
    $ lsnrctl

    Thanks mhaller and apfaunts..

    Some improvement::
    I was able to discover the node for my NT(local db where OEM is installed by typing in IP address)..

    Now I shall change permissions on the Sunboxes and shall
    try again.. Shall catch you guys again..

    Wink OEM logon and Setup

    Check your DBSNMPW.LOG file for additional errors.

    Try the following:
    Remove the $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/snmp_ro.ora & snmp_rw.ora files.
    Remove all files in the $ORACLE_HOME/network/agent directory, leaving only the subdirectories.

    Restart the Oracle Intelligent Agent.

    Also, take a look on metalink at(search on Starting the Intelligent Agent):

    I am able to discover all the nodes(databases-remote)
    and can access them..
