I run the script and it just created a subprogram that will copy
the datafiles. Well not so good for me . Theres a better one here
in dbasupport.com just click the above menu/tab "scripts" there is one
hotbu script for unix similar to what u have but even shorter and
better

Yes papa, u can run it anywhere it will just create a new sql
program. Its just a ordinary read/spool sql.
