    OEM email notification

    Hi all,

    I did successfully set up OEM to monitor all of my databases, everything is working fine and I can connect to the remote datasbe from OEM. I also did setup the email notification to monitor the databases and it's not working. I know one thing for OEM to monitor the database at all time, there should be one process DBSMNP running on the remote database at all time.

    could someone please tell me what I need to do for that porcess running????

    9i OEM, right?

    Did you setup the email/paging schedule?

    Configuration/Manage Administrator Accounts/--your_account--/Edit/Schedule TAB/Select the hours you want email notifications sent, then click "Email".

    thanks I had already done this before posting the message here, my testing to send email from OEM is fine. Let me try to set up the event to see if that porcess show up.
