ODP for .Net
Well, I just got the upgrade docs for one of my apps and apparently I need to install Oracle Data Provider for .Net (9i) on our Windows App Server. I'm embarassed to admit I had never heard of this before.
I'm currently trying to research it a bit, but curious if any of you guys had experience with it. Any Gotchas?
Thanks!

Jodie,
The Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET) features optimized data access to the Oracle database from a .NET environment. ODP.NET allows developers to take advantage of advanced Oracle database functionality. ODP.NET makes using Oracle from .NET more flexible, faster, and more stable.
For more info on ODP.NET check this website out

It will give you all the details on ODP.NET.
Hopefully, this helps you.
