question about db_file_multiblock_read_count

Could some please tell me if I increase the value of the db_file_multi_block_read from 8 to 64 in "alter session... "scope" while a batch job with many sql statements is executing, whether the remaining sql in the executing batch job will use the new value from memory? Please help. Thx.

Hi

My feeling is that it wont effect a existing running sql But the next sql in the session might be effected.

But i am not sure tkprof that session and see
