    To migrate from DMT to LMT

    Hi, to do what the subject says, check this out "DBMS_SPACE_ADMIN.TABLESPACE_MIGRATE_TO_LOCAL"

    whats your point?

    YOu know that method isn;t very good as you miss out on some of the benefits of LMT's

    create the TS (LMT) and then move all the objects..

    Hi. Cos i know the benefits of LMT, that is why i wanted to convert from DMT.

    booooo, you told him and to be more precise you won't lose uniform extents you just cant enforce them. A user can still enter whatever storage parameters they want.

    Existing extents wont suddenly become uniform and initial=next and pctincrease=0 still isn't uniform

    Also the bitmaps are in the wrong place as well so they aren't good
