    Executing DML on startup

    Hi,
I would like to run a script on oracle database startup only once.
I tried startup triggers, but running DML opt. is not allowed in startup triggers. I am trying dbms job, but I could only define next date. Is there any way running a job on oracle startup only or another way doing the same aim?
    thank you very much

    kind regards,
