    Multiple simultaneous imports?

Has anybody ever performed two simultaneous imports into a single database before? I will need to import two schemas and would like to run each import at the same time. They are seperate schemas with seperate tablespaces, and the .dmp files are separate as well.

What problems can anyone forsee in this? There is sufficient temp space (up to 8Gbytes), this is v8.1.7.4 running on AIX v5L with 5 cpu's.

    Any comments? Thanks in advance.

yes, hundreds of times. If you plan and have plenty of resources, it should not be a problem.
