    dbca

    Hi,
    iam trying to invoke dbca through telnet using
    ./dbca
    iam getting this error
    /opt/oracle/product/9.2/JRE/bin/../lib/i686/green_threads/libzip.so: symbol errn
    o, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference (lib
    zip.so)
    Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread
    Could not create Java VM

    pls tell me what could be the error?

    how to invoke DBCA GUO using telnet?

    This particular error is a linker error. Either your software was not installed correctly or you have something missing in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH. However, pando is right, you can't use DBCA using telnet.
