You can set it up ( as I made ) by Installing Oracle Enterprise manager ( the new 8i edition - using its universal installer ) ,, you will be asked when installing it wheather to install Management Server or not.

It will create services on NT that has to be activated prior to invoking management server.

    Angry Oracle Management Server

I had the same problem, when I run OEM 2 from a Win 98 client, it asks for OMS and on my NT4 server box running Oracle 8.0 there is no OMS. How do I get OMS running on my NT (or Unix) so that I can connect OEM to OMS. I tried posting this at many forums but none could help me.

OEM v2.x is in designed for 3 tier architecture.

    Console -- OMS -- Respository

This is done so in order to use thin clients in Console.

To install OMS get your 8i CD and install management structure part, after this instllation you will see a new service called Oracle Management Server in your services, just start it and then you can connect to that server from your console in other machine or the same machine where OMS resides.
