    ora-12801

    Hi,

i am trying to run a query that uses dblink.
the wquery works fine at times and execution time is also quick but some time i get the following errors

    [1]: (Error): ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P008, instance abcet:SQUAD5(5) ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ktsxaffs1], [], [], [], [], [], [], [] ORA-02063: preceding 2 lines from SQUAD

    any solution to this.

    Thanks in advance

    ORA-02063: "preceding %s%s from %s%s"

Cause: an Oracle error was received from a remote database link.
Action: refer to the preceding error message(s)

It's your 600 error from the remote database (SQUAD?) that needs to be addressed, and a metalink TAR is probably your best option at this point. It's definately a obscure error.

No "ktsxaffs1" hits on metalink, a couple on google .. unfortunately it's a chinese blog.

Here's the only readable stuff I could find.

If it is intermittent then me thinks it could be a network problem.

Can you test the SQL locally on the other box and see if you get the error.
Or ping the box when you get the error, see if there are any glitches.
I remember when this place was cool.
