    UNDOTBS01.DBF too big

Subject file is getting humongous. What can I delete and do to shrink the file to something under a gig or less. It is over 1 g's and no more disk space. I haven't done anything important in last 2 months (waiting for 8i cert to arrive in mail). If this is where undo or redo history ends up, I could delete all of it as I don't need to keep any of it.

I aparently turned on the redo history for studying for 8i test and it has been on through many reboots and now there is no more disk space left in the partition.

first go and read the manuals.

second, resize the tablespace downwards if you want or create a new one and drop that one.

3rd delete your archive log files if you dont need them

If this is an OCP cert, remind me not to bother.
