Oracle DBA salaries in Kuwait

Can anyone be able to tell me how the salary rates are for dba's working in Kuwait? this is just to give me a feel of how they compare with the salaries in uk? also, is the job market good there?

It could vary a bit but factor in a hefty life insurance premium!!

It starts from 400KD onwards.... and may increase depending on the experience, requirement and the company...

400KD translates roughly into 1,383.56 USD or 702 GBP. Monthly that sucks. However, I have heard that companies sometimes offer houses and cars that may off-set the low income (in this case).

Personally if the salaries were good I wouldn't mind working down there. Lots of malls, ocean is right there, and cheap labor is imported so basically everything is taken care of. Live in maid service $200 a month would make the single man think he's died and gone to heaven.

Hmmm, I've gone off into a tangent... to answer the orginal question I couldn't tell you what the salaries are exactly because I'm based out of Europe and only travel there every so often.
