Oracle and Wireless Network Disconnects
I have an Oracle client application that is on a wireless laptop that is having problems when the Laptop looses connection to the network, sometimes for less than a second. Is there anyway to setup the client or the listener to be a little more tolerant for when the client looses network connection.
You can test this without wireless connections by just unplugging your network cable for a second or two. Normally its an ora-3114 error, but more information comes out if tracing is turned on, it shows a ns-12560 reporting as ora-12560.
I've reviewed and tested the disable_oob=on and sqlnet.expire_time=30, but neither of these will keep Oracle connected?
Any ideas?
