Landscape Reporting?

How can i develop a landscape reporting.
for example i am develpoing a report with the sql of
Select * from emp;

I set the intial value of ORENTATION system parameter but could not find the landscape in live previewer.

Where am i wrong?

There were 2 things that i was missing:

1) orientation property of layout model -> main section

2) width and height property of layout model -> main section

After doing the above mentioned points I achieved the required results.
