    It would appear that Oracle finaly got a strong competitor out of the way while causing the plummeting of morale at PeopleSoft. Other than that, I could give two monkeys.

    It's a good aquisition. At least good for Oracle

    Bad for DBA's - the Oracle DBA & Peoplesoft DBA will morph into a single role - more work same pay I guess!
