Veritas & BackUp Exec Oracle Agent - use of OCIW32.dll

We had a server rebuilt by a contractor and Net Admins last week. Multiple Oracle homes exist as DBs were migrated from 8.1.5 to 8.1.7 and some up to 9.2.0.4

I have some DBs at 8.1.7 and some at 9.2.0.4.

The Admins tell me that Veritas is not backing them up. There's a problem with which copy of the .dll that the Oracle Agent uses. Dependency checker shows the .dll using the 8.1.7 'version' whilst the Environment Path (This is Windows NT4) shows that BackUp Exec will look at 9.2.0.4.

Okay - make em match you say. Easy enough. If they both point to 9.2 then that's fine; but does it mean (well, yes it does) that the 8.1.7 DBs won't get backed up? How can I tell Veritas and BackUp Exec to use one version of the dll for the 9i DBs and another for the 8i Db's.
