Question on OID (Enterprise User Security)

    Hi,

I have the OID configured for a database and I have enterprise users created on the OID. Using SQL Plus I can connect with these enterprise users.

When I disable the enterprise user on the OID, I will not be able to connect through the OID login, but the database still allows me to connect through SQL Plus. How to disable the enterprise user so that I cant connect to the database thro the SQL Plus?

    Regards.

An OID user is different than a database user. That is why you can disable an OID, but still connect to the database.

You will need to lock the database account to achieve what you want to do.
